Meet the Mr.

Wesley, or Wes for short, is a first grade teacher and truly LOVES his job!  He has such a way with kids and the rapport he develops with his class year after year is really his best teaching quality.  You can teach any student anything if you have their trust and attention!

He is kind, patient, calm and goofy with his kiddos. He takes the time to get to know each and every one of them and understands their needs.  He wants the best for his students and takes the time to plan according to their different learning styles.  He is beginning his ninth year of teaching and has no plans to ever leave the classroom.  He has also coached in the past but when our twin girls were born in 2009 he stepped down for the time being.  Someday he will return to that because on top of being a great teacher he is a fantastic athlete and coach.  Baseball and basketball are his passion.  He did coach our girls' under 6 soccer team this spring and that was definitely interesting! :)

We met in methods classes in college and I instantly knew he was someone I wanted to get to know and very shortly after we started dating I was sure he was "THE ONE".  I mean, come on, a man who loves kids, is fun and seriously handsome???? Who wouldn't want that?  I sure did!  I'm definitely a lucky lady to get to go through life with him! I'm so proud to be his wife! He is a wonderful husband and teacher and an even better Daddy! He loves our girls, Mya and Stella, with everything he has and would do absolutely anything for them!

Being two teachers does have some downfalls.....we are ALWAYS crazy busy during the school year and let's face it the pay isn't fantastic but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives! We both understand the demands of our jobs perfectly and are able to offer advice and help with planning when needed.  We get all holidays and weekends off and the entire summer at home together with our little ladies! It is amazing! We just celebrated 7 years of marriage on July 1st and I feel so very blessed to be living the life we live!

I will leave you with a picture of my whole world:
